This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all FrenzHost customers and anyone who uses a FrenzHost service. The AUP is part of our Terms of Service and exists to protect our network, our customers and the wider internet community. Violating this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account, without refund.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not host, store, link to or distribute any of the following on FrenzHost servers:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content sexualising minors. We report all such material to law enforcement immediately.
- Content that promotes, incites or facilitates terrorism, genocide or violent extremism.
- Content that incites violence against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality.
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights — pirated software, movies, music, ebooks, courses or cracks.
- Counterfeit goods, fake IDs, fraudulent academic credentials or forged documents.
- Content related to the sale of illegal drugs, weapons, endangered species or human trafficking.
- Defamatory, libelous or knowingly false content intended to harm a person or business.
- Doxing — publishing private personal information without consent.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn").
- Content that violates the laws of Nigeria or the country where the content is accessed.
2. No Spam or Unsolicited Messaging
- You may not send unsolicited bulk email (UBE), unsolicited commercial email (UCE) or any form of email spam from our servers.
- You may not operate mailing lists without verifiable opt-in consent for every recipient.
- You may not relay mail through third-party servers without authorisation.
- You may not forge headers, falsify "From" addresses or use deceptive subject lines.
- The maximum outbound mail rate per shared hosting account is 200 emails per hour. Higher volumes require a dedicated SMTP service.
3. No Malware or Malicious Code
- No viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, spyware, keyloggers or any other malicious software.
- No phishing pages or sites designed to deceive visitors into disclosing credentials, payment information or personal data.
- No command-and-control infrastructure for botnets, RATs or compromised devices.
- No exploit kits, vulnerability scanners or "stresser" / DDoS-for-hire panels.
- No cryptocurrency miners running without explicit consent of the visitor.
4. No Network Abuse
- No attempting to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or network.
- No port scanning, vulnerability probing or penetration testing of systems you do not own without written authorisation.
- No launching denial-of-service or amplification attacks from our network.
- No interfering with the service of another customer or any third party.
5. No Excessive Resource Usage
Shared hosting is shared. To keep performance fair for everyone, we set reasonable limits on CPU, RAM, I/O, processes and inodes. The exact limits are published in your customer dashboard. Specifically:
- No long-running CPU-intensive scripts (video transcoding, machine learning training, password cracking, scientific simulations).
- No public file-sharing, backup-only accounts, image hosts, video hosts or streaming media servers.
- No torrent trackers, seeders or peer-to-peer file sharing.
- No proxy servers, VPN endpoints or anonymising services.
- If your site grows beyond shared limits, we will reach out to recommend a VPS or dedicated plan rather than shut you down.
6. Adult Content
Lawful, consensual adult content is permitted only with prior written approval from FrenzHost and only on plans designated for adult content. All performers must be verified as adults under applicable law and records must be maintained.
7. Cryptocurrency and High-Risk Sites
You may host informational sites, blogs and small dApps related to cryptocurrency, but you may not host exchanges, ICO/IDO/IEO platforms, mixing services or any service requiring custody of customer funds without prior approval.
8. Reporting Abuse
If you believe a FrenzHost-hosted site is violating this AUP, please report it to abuse@frenzhost.online. Include the URL, a description of the issue and any supporting evidence. We investigate every report and respond within 24 hours.
9. Enforcement
When we receive a credible report or detect a violation, we may:
- Contact you to request remediation within a specified time (usually 24–72 hours).
- Suspend the affected file, script, mailbox or website while we investigate.
- Suspend the entire account in cases of severe or repeat violations.
- Terminate the account without refund and report to law enforcement where appropriate.
For urgent threats — phishing, malware actively spreading, CSAM — we may suspend immediately and without prior notice. We will explain the reason as soon as practicable afterwards.
10. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal in writing to appeals@frenzhost.online within 14 days. We will review every appeal in good faith.
11. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time as new threats and abuse patterns emerge. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance.
